*Accountant*

Our Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of project reporting for our Fortune 100 customers, as well as maintaining weekly billing processes and related communications/reports that affect multiple stakeholders.

Pay for Accountant:*

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00

Essential functions for Accountant:*

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our finance team with a focus on labor management to assist payroll and billing. The Accountant will play a critical role in overseeing the timekeeping processes to ensure payroll accuracy. The ideal candidate should possess general accounting knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

* Timecard Management:
* Oversee the accuracy of the timekeeping system, ensuring accurate recording and validation of employee work hours.
* Review and reconcile timecards, resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with HR and department managers to address time-related inquiries and ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

* Process Improvement:

* Identify opportunities to streamline timecard and payroll processes, implementing best practices to increase efficiency.
* Evaluate existing procedures and systems, recommending improvements to enhance accuracy and productivity.
* Support process automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks and enhance data accuracy.
* Payroll Support:

* Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, based on validated timecard data.
* Review payroll reports for completeness and accuracy before submission to finance and management.
* Assist in resolving payroll-related inquiries and addressing payroll discrepancies, as they arise.
* Financial Reporting:

* Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to labor costs, time utilization, and workforce productivity.
* Provide insightful analysis and recommendations based on timecard data to support decision-making.
* Assist in the production of accounting records including invoices, journal entries and other reconciliations.
* Compliance and Audits:

* Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and internal policies related to timekeeping and payroll.
* Assist with internal and external audits, providing accurate and timely documentation as required.

*Required experience for Accountant:*

* Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Two to five years of experience in general accounting or audit. Previous experience with timecard and process management is a plus.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
* General knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processes, and labor regulations.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using payroll software and timekeeping systems.
* Experience in process improvement and automation initiatives.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Clean background with no outstanding or pending legal charges
* Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test at time of hire and at random.
* Valid Driver’s License
* Non-US Citizen must hold current work visa or green card.
