$19 -$20 High Rise Forklift Operator
Manpower in Washington, MO is hiring experienced forklift operators for multiple shifts at a local warehouse and distribution center.

• Two shifts available:
• 1st shift: Mon-Fri / 6am- 2:30pm
• 2nd shift: Mon-Thurs / 3:45pm- 2:15am

• Pay $19 - $20 hourly

  General Overview: Picks customer orders using scan guns to verify each order is accurately picked and transports orders to appropriate packing areas.

  Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Fill and transport customer orders using industrial lifts, working up to 25 feet in the air with a 5 point harness.
  • Ensure each order is accurately picked in a timely manner.
  • Operates an industrial lift working up to 25 feet in the air to pick product for orders.
  • Checks and verifies orders for accuracy.
  • All other duties as requested.
  • May be assigned to various other areas or departments when needed to meet company goals.
  Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic computer experience preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Experience operating industrial lifts is preferred.
  • Ability to be certified to operate required equipment.
  • Possesses the ability to read and interpret documents such as orders and instructions.
  • Ability to write and understand reports and correspondence.
  • Good knowledge of basic math; ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as quantities and combined box counts.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of dealing with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt and change as business needs change daily.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time; majority of the shift.
